Bulgari presents Mediterranean Sea-inspired pop-up in California

Hot on the heels of unveiling its renovated 5,300-square-foot store at South Coast Plaza, Bulgari has unveiled a fragrance pop-up in the Costa Mesa, California, shopping destination – as the company begins a growth phase in the state. .

The “Allegra Chill & Sole” fragrance is part of its Allegra collection and was created by master perfumer Jacques Cavallier. It is an eau de parfum inspired by the landscapes and surroundings of the Mediterranean Sea. Visitors to the pop-up can engrave bottles, attend perfume masterclasses, sample treats like Italian gelato and soda, all while being welcomed into the world of perfume, which is brought to life in the space through personalization .

“California is one of Bulgari’s largest markets and South Coast Plaza is home to our recently reopened boutique,” ​​Hervé Perrot, Bulgari president of North America, said in a statement. “Our first-ever U.S. pop-up showcasing the Bulgari Allegra fragrance collection offers customers the chance to experience Bulgari Allegra Generative AI mixology – a pioneering personalization concept that delivers an immersive, interactive world that triggers the senses. Guests are invited to create their own perfect blend including our eau de parfum and magnifying essences, transforming it into a bespoke generative video work.

Founded in Rome in 1884, the Italian luxury house was first known for its jewelry and leather goods before diversifying into perfumes in the 1990s. It is now part of the LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton portfolio, acquired by the luxury conglomerate in 2011.

The Bulgari pop-up is open Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Sunday it’s open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
