Bret Hart remembers Owen Hart on his birthday with an emotional message

Owen Hart was considered one of the most gifted competitors to ever grace a WWE ring. Sadly, his life was snuffed out when he tragically lost his life at Over The Edge in 1999 as he fell to his death. On the occasion of his birthday, his brother Bret Hart wrote a moving message in memory of him.

Owen Hart had doubts about the Blue Blazer’s deadly stunt that ultimately cost him his life. His death sparked numerous controversies that continue to this day. Owen Hart’s wife Martha sued WWE for wrongful death, and Vince McMahon sued her.

WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart shared a heartfelt message on his late brother Owen Hart’s birthday, reflecting on a recent dream in which he saw Owen Hart. In the Instagram post, he also uploaded some old photos of his brother.

“I had a wonderful dream two days ago; Owen came up to me briefly and his big smile immediately made me smile too. He was teasing me and I was surprised that he almost caught me again. I woke up smiling. I think of you in my happy thoughts, often seeing you in the highest and farthest corner of a room. Your warm blue eyes and expressions of amusement and thought. Sometimes I hear your voice behind my right ear or while driving on the highway. Hey Oje’, just so you know, I know it’s you.

Even Jake Roberts thinks Vince McMahon should have stopped the show after the tragic death of Owen Hart. Nonetheless, the death of Owen Hart will forever remain one of the dark marks of WWE, and that will never change.
