GMB’s Susanna and Richard called out by Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden for interview error

GMB’s Susanna and Richard called out by Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden for interview error

Susanna Reid was left red-faced on Good Morning Britain when Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden pointed out she had made a gaffe. As the show ended on Wednesday, May 1, the Boyzlife duo had to remind her that she had forgotten to talk about their tour.

The pair were at the Good Morning Britain studio to give details of their upcoming Boyzlife tour scheduled for January. But before they could delve into their future plans, they remembered a decades-old interview with Susanna’s co-host, Richard Madeley.

Caught in nostalgia, Susanna almost ended the segment by sending her best wishes to Brian and Keith, completely omitting any mention of their tour.

The guys didn’t let it pass and replied together: “You never talked about touring!” Despite this oversight, Keith lightly joked: “We don’t get up that early in the morning, we only do it to promote our tour.”

Boyzone’s Keith Duffy and Westlife’s Brian McFadden joined forces in 2016 to create Boyzlife, delighting fans with a medley of their bands’ hits. After four years of hard work, they released their debut album, Strings Attached, in 2020.

Their latest musical offering, Old School, hit shelves on January 19, 2022.

Keith and Brian are all set to charm their fans with a tour starting at the end of January 2025, kicking off at the Blackpool Opera House. But it’s not just music that has got them excited, they’re also venturing into the world of football with Chorley FC.

In February 2024, the Boyzone duo, along with teammate Shane Lynch, identified Chorley FC during the FA Trophy Tie as potential investors, although their exact roles at the club have yet to be confirmed. Ronan Keating, who was unable to attend the match, is said to be equally keen to take part.

Speaking to the PA news agency, Brian hinted a deal was on the horizon: “It’s pretty close. I’ve just been talking about coming to the next home game with my family, so you’ll probably see a lot of us.” . Were in.”

Brian then explained how Shane, although not a huge football fan, was central to their involvement: “Shane’s not really a football man but he knew that me and Keith love football , so he got me and Ronan involved. We want to be part of something from the ground up.”

Brian continued: “I’m a Manchester United fan myself, I have season tickets at Old Trafford, but it’s a corporation. You look at something like Chorley Football Club and you see it’s owned by the city , it belongs to the people, it belongs to the community. The trio made their involvement official by signing on the dotted line at the end of March 2024, demonstrating their dedication to the Magpies.
