Danger!

Danger! fans expressed frustration after confusing clue lost contestant Arthur Chu a daily double.

During the Tuesday, March 26 episode, which is part of the current show Danger! Invitational tournament, Chu competitors, David Madden And MacKenzie Jones confronted. When he got to the second Daily Double, Chu had the chance to gain a significant lead over the others by betting $10,000.

The video question showed a violin without strings and the text: “It describes a person weakened by nerves, as well as the instrument here.” As time passed for Chu to respond, he couldn’t come up with anything.

The answer was “What’s not roped?” » and host Ken Jennings replied: “It should be noted that the violin was not attached… It’s hard.”

Obviously, fans felt the same way, as many disagreed with the hint when talking about the series online. A viewer participated in a discussion about the Danger! subreddit and said: “That DD that Arthur missed was one of the most unfair clues I can remember.”

They argued about competitors trying to answer the question: “They’re not going to look for a distinguishing feature, like missing ffs strings, and describe it.” Just a terribly terrible clue.

Others agreed, calling it “stupid” and “really, really bad,” with one also noting that they couldn’t even see that the violin wasn’t attached when they looked at the show on television at home.

It seemed like the odd clue was made worse by the fact that it was a Daily Double, as one fan pointed out: “Excusable if it wasn’t a DD, but it was a DD that cost someone a place in the semi-finals.”

Chu was in the lead at the end of the first round, but his miss with the Daily Double in the second round dropped him to second place. Although he answered the Final Jeopardy question correctly, he lost the game to Madden.
