On May 5, 2024, the Facebook page America’s Last Line of Defense published an article claiming that Beyoncé had offered Kid Rock millions of dollars to join him on stage at his concerts. The post received more than 80,000 reactions, 12,000 comments and 7,000 shares. Users republished the same rumor on Facebook, Instagram And X.

A Facebook user claimed in a post that Beyoncé offered Kid Rock millions of dollars to join him on stage at his concerts.

The message and subsequent response read:

Beyoncé offered Kid Rock millions to join him on stage at some of his shows. He refused :

“She wants to use my name to add credibility to hers,” he said. “I told her and her husband to push it.”

Beyoncé and her husband Jay-Z travel the rural world in search of legitimacy which does not come. According to Lester, who was present at Kid Rock’s last concert, “Kid doesn’t care about that kind of thing. He’s aimed at meth-loving rednecks, not a real country audience.”

Lester seems to be right. Once an artist is pretty well washed, they tend to lean in for attention and join the country crowd. Just look at Ted Nugent.

However, this article was not a factual account of actual events. The article comes from a Facebook page associated with the America’s Last Line of Defense network of satirical and parody websites. According to the page description, “Nothing on this page is real.”

Additionally, the rumor resembled a similar post shared in April 2024 by another satirical Facebook page named SpaceX Fanclub. The headline of that rumor read: “Kid Rock Rejects Beyoncé’s $500 Million Offer to Promote ‘Cowboy Carter'” – Beyoncé’s 2024 album, described by PBS as “deeply rooted in country music.”
