Director’s Cut Game Ready driver released by NVIDIA

Director’s Cut Game Ready driver released by NVIDIA

NVIDIA has just released a new optimized Game Ready driver for Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut, a full week before the game’s release on PC (which comes four years after the initial launch on PlayStation 4).

As previously reported, NVIDIA worked alongside Nixxes to implement some of its key technologies into the game, including DLSS Super Resolution, DLSS Frame Generation, and Reflex. As such, the game will undoubtedly run at much higher frame rates than on PlayStation consoles.

Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut includes the base game and additional Iki Island content, which includes an all-new story and characters, new environments, new armor for Jin and his horse, new mini-games , new techniques, new types of enemies. , and new animals to pet.

Even the base game alone would be more than enough to grab the attention of PC gamers. In my review of the PS4 version, I rated Ghost of Tsushima 9 out of 10:

Ghost of Tsushima is Sucker Punch’s best game yet and a great open-world title capable of going toe-to-toe with some of the biggest names in the genre. The excellent rendition of feudal Japan, along with its well-written characters and story, make Ghost of Tsushima the latest must-play PlayStation 4 exclusive.

On PC, Ghost of Tsushima will also be the first game to feature the new PlayStation overlay, which allows PSN players to access their friends list, unlock trophies, and change settings and profiles. Legends multiplayer will feature cross-play with PlayStation consoles, but it will also remain subject to the PSN account requirement that sent Helldivers 2 players into a frenzy until Sony reversed the move. We’ll see if another controversy ensues when the game releases.

Additionally, the following five games will be added to the GeForce NOW cloud platform this week:

  • Little kitten, big city (New version on Steam and Xbox, available on PC Game Pass, May 9)
  • The farmer’s life (Steam)
  • Honkai: Star Rail (Epic Games Store)
  • Supermarket simulator (Steam)
  • Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition (Xboxavailable on PC Game Pass)
