The National Ride of Silence will take place on May 15 at Empie Park

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – Cyclists are invited to participate in the National Ride of Silence at Empie Park on Wednesday, May 15.

Runners are asked to go to the tennis parking lot no later than 6:45 p.m. to ride in honor of those injured or killed while cycling on public roads.

The journey will begin at 7 p.m. sharp and upon arrival they will be asked to remain silent.
