Sherritt Announces Voting Results From Its 2024 Annual Meeting of Shareholders

TORONTO, May 9, 2024–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Sherritt International Corporation (“Sherritt” or the “Company”) (TSX: S) today announced the voting results of its 2024 annual meeting of shareholders held on May 9 2024.

A total of 156,740,611 common shares, representing 39.45% of the issued and outstanding common shares of Sherritt, were represented virtually or by proxy at the meeting. Shareholders voted in favor of all items proposed at the meeting, including the reappointment of Deloitte LLP as external auditor and the non-binding advisory resolution known as “Say on Pay”.

Each of the seven director nominees listed in the management information circular for the 2024 shareholders’ meeting was individually elected as a director of Sherritt to serve until the next annual general meeting of the company or until its successor is elected or appointed:
