2 people arrested after motor vehicle stop: Milford police

MILFORD, CT — A motor vehicle stop led to the arrest of two New Haven women and “a search of the vehicle revealed narcotics as well as numerous items used in the sale of narcotics,” police said.

Police said they found approximately 100 tablets, a container containing a white rock substance, two scales, three cell phones, numerous sachets/packaging bags of various sizes, as well as numerous rubber bands and wax folds, said the police.

The seized substances tested positive for MDMA (ecstasy) as well as cocaine, police said.

The motor vehicle stop took place April 28 in the area of ​​Old Gate Lane for motor vehicle violations, police said. Two New Haven women were found inside the car, police said.

During the investigation, police said they learned the vehicle was neither insured nor registered. The vehicle also had plates that did not belong to the vehicle, police said.

Both women were charged and released and summoned to court on May 18.
