Man who played postcode lottery for eight years shocked when he finally receives a parcel

We have all dreamed of winning the lottery.

So when a People’s Postcode Lottery package arrived on Chris Cork’s doorstep, he immediately started fantasizing about how to spend the money. The Manchester man couldn’t contain his excitement when the white package arrived emblazoned with the lottery logo.

But unfortunately, his enthusiasm was short-lived when he tore open the package. Instead of a big windfall, he ended up with an item he planned to throw straight into a trash can.

Posting on TikTok under the username @chriscork89, Chris said: “I’m a WINNER of the People’s Postcode Lottery…well I thought I was!”

“I’ve been taking part in the People’s Postcode Lottery for eight years. The postman just knocked on my door and gave me this, which is quite big. Sealed. I thought I’d made it. I won a lot silver.

“Look through the door to see if there was a camera crew or if Daniel was there, no one was there. I thought it said ‘share your victory’. Taking that away, a bit of excitement settled. I thought this It might be a check. If you look at the amount of it, it looks like there might be a check inside.

Opening the package, he was stunned by its contents. “You’ll never guess what I won,” he said.
