If your goal this summer is to look stylish and feel comfortable, look no further than tunic dresses! For the sake of today’s article, I consider a tunic dress to be a casual, looser-fitting dress that falls above the knee. These versatile pieces are perfect for any occasion, including throwing them over your swimsuit for cover-up. My favorite thing about them is that they look just as cute over a pair of leggings, so they can be worn by absolutely everyone, even those of you who prefer a little extra coverage for the legs. They come in a variety of styles, designs, and price tags, so you’re sure to find one that suits your taste AND your budget. Now, let’s look at some tunic dresses that caught my eye this week!

Affordable Tunic Dresses: Under $100

I’m not sure if these two dresses are technically a “tunic dress”, but I think they’re pretty close. Lol! I love the way they are made and many petite women always ask for shorter dresses. What’s not to love about this dress? It’s comfortable, flowy, feminine, flattering and LESS than $20!

I added my new favorite earrings even though the dress was a statement in itself.

This dress is made in a similar style. I thought those who don’t want such a colorful dress would prefer this solid color. The V-neck and flutter sleeves still give off a feminine vibe. This dress is casual and would look great at home or in a restaurant.

The Camry Gold Open Frame Earrings c/o Kendra Scott are very pretty, and I can see myself wearing them a lot this summer. I have Indigo, but they are also available in Azalea.

I love this straw clutch and wear it with just about everything. The Barely There Thong sandals are perfect for a minimalist look. I also have them in black; I bought these last year and purchased this color before they sold out.

I think I slept on H&M! Do you like shopping there? They have such cute pieces at affordable prices, including this adorable cotton tunic dress available in four colors for under $25.

Here is another stunning tunic dress from H&M that I wanted to share. I’ve been loving the chic look of black and white lately, but it also comes in four other prints and two solids. This one is less than $20 and it hits the knees, which is a little more modest than some other tunic dresses I see.

You know Amazon is my go-to for finding cute dresses on a budget, and there are lots of great tunic dresses to check out on their website. This one has a fun lantern pouch with a floral pattern and comes in 8 different colors.

I’m obsessed with this hot pink tunic dress! You all know I love happy colors, especially in summer. Add a nude block heel and a rattan handbag and I’ll be ready for a date with Joe or lunch with my friends.

I loved the ruffled bottom of this A-line dress from Loft. If you search for “a-line dress” on their site, they have so many adorable tunic dresses. The reviews on this one say to make sure you size down!

High-end tunic dresses: over $100

Chico’s is always a fan favorite, and I can’t blame you for their timeless designs and great quality. This popover dress has a pretty leaf print and is 100% cotton, meaning it will keep you cool and comfortable on those hot summer days. I love dresses that aren’t just for one season of the year, and I think you could even wear this dress all fall long with a jacket over the top and ankle boots!

I’ve been discovering all kinds of great “new to me” brands lately, and I was thrilled to see how many tunic dresses NavyBLEU has to offer! They have lots of lovely block print inspired pieces, but I loved the unique look of this Eden dress with the woven cotton trim on the neckline and bottom.

I recently shared how much I love Boden in this post, and it’s because of all the colorful prints like the one on this notched cotton dress. This would be cute with anything from white sneakers and a woven tote to a pair of white leggings and flip flops! This pineapple one is also really fun!

This one from Cabana Life is made with sun protection fabric, which is a great option if you’re trying to protect your skin this summer! The bright color and contrast of the white border makes it look so elevated and chic. They also have several versions with long sleeves or 3/4 sleeves for even more protection against the sun.
