Prince Harry, who himself faced two major snubs from his father King Charles during his trip to the UK, spoke of his heartbreak and stress in an emotional speech at his premiere day trip to Nigeria with Meghan Markle.

The Duke of Sussex, speaking about the importance of mental health awareness, said: “There is no shame in being able to recognize that today is a bad day. »

Harry continued: “That you have lost a loved one in your family and you don’t know where to turn or who to talk to.”

“All of these things, you may have been led to believe, are not up for conversation,” adding “We are here to tell you today that that is not the case.”

Prince Harry gave this emotional but powerful message shortly after arriving in Nigeria to accompany his wife Meghan Markle on a 72-hour trip.

Harry flew to Nigeria on Friday after completing his three-day solo visit to the UK, as he was not joined by the Duchess of Sussex for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

The 39-year-old was initially expected to meet his cancer-stricken father, but Charles’ busy schedule dashed Harry’s hopes of a possible reunion.

It is pertinent to note that no member of the royal family attended the special Invictus Games thank you service despite Harry’s invitation.
