Kylian Mbappé omits Nasser Al-Khelaïfi in his farewell message

Outgoing Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappé (25) caused a stir by avoiding mentioning club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi in his farewell message, an insult which could indicate their broken relationship.

The relationship between Kylian Mbappé and President Nasser is irreparably broken

According to The Parisian, The relationship between PSG’s top scorer and the long-time president has been broken for several months since the Frenchman announced his departure internally on February 13. Al-Khelaifi, wishing to organize a more substantial farewell for the fugitive attacker, became increasingly agitated over the lack of a public statement from Mbappé, making it impossible to organize an event and deteriorating relations between the two men.

After building a sporting project around Mbappé and selling other stars to consolidate his status as the club’s main man, Al-Khelaifi reportedly considers the player ungrateful for his efforts to make him the face of the new PSG. However, a separation could be the best outcome for both parties.
