Do you like “Our Faulty Stars”? So get ready for Netflix’s new Tearjerker “Caught By a Wave”

If you like tear-jerking movies (like The fault in our stars And Five feet apart), then we have a real treat for you.

Netflix has just released the first official trailer for the upcoming Italian film Caught by a wave, which follows a heartbreaking love story. (You have been warned.)

The video introduces viewers to the budding romance between Sara (Elvira Camarrone) and Lorenzo (Roberto Christian), who bond over their mutual love of the ocean. After the two men get closer, Sara shoots a Walk to remember and reveals that she suffers from an illness that does not allow her to live a “normal life”.

“I didn’t want you to be with me out of pity,” Sara said. To which Lorenzo responds: “It’s too late now. »

The film documents the love story of the Sicilians as they learn to cope with their questionable future, so make sure you have some tissues.

Besides Camarrone and Christian, the film also stars Vincenzo Amato (Antonio), Donatella Finocchiaro (Susanna), Corrado Invernizzi (Boris), Manuela Ventura (Tuccia) and Sofia Migliara (Barbara). The film was directed by Massimiliano Camaiti (Armando), who also wrote the screenplay alongside Claudia Bottino (Duo).

Caught by a wave will be released on Netflix on March 25.
