New Delhi: TikTok influencer Kimberley Nix has died at the age of 31. Nix was diagnosed with metastatic sarcoma three years ago, when she was 28 years old. She gained attention in 2021 when she began documenting her battle with cancer on social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok.

A final video with a message from Nix was posted to his TikTok account on the day of his death. According to People, she said in the video: “Hello followers, if you see this message, I passed away peacefully. For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Kim, hello! It’s so nice to meet you and you are welcome to check out all the interesting facts about sarcoma, my information and my lived experience with death and dying from sarcoma cancer. You don’t have to go just because you’re new.

“I love you all, thank you so much for this incredible opportunity. I am in tears of joy because you all allowed me to find so much meaning at the end of my life,” she added in the video before passing away.

Nix on his fight

In April, Nix gave a media interview saying that although life was difficult for her, she believed it was just one of the many things she had. “Life is so much more. It’s friends, family, pets, your career, the perfect temperature for the first sip of tea, the beautiful snow-capped mountains,” she said.

Nix is ​​survived by her husband Michael MacIsaac. “So many people are going through so much more with so much less to be grateful for. Seeing the beautiful parts of life every day helps me stay grounded and focused on what is most important to me, and to keep moving forward with more treatments,” Nix said in the interview she given in April.

Her last Instagram post was about three weeks ago.
