Mohali, May 12, 2024: Congress candidate from Anandpur Sahib constituency Vijay Inder Singla during his campaign in Mohali expressed his tribute to mothers on the occasion of Mother’s Day.

The campaign started from Landran in the morning and ended at Homeland, Mohali in the evening.

During the election campaign, Vijay Inder Singla said, “The central government has been unfair to the people of Punjab and has made no effort to accept the demands of the state. Furthermore, low industrial development, high unemployment and lack of movement of any multinational in the recent past have worsened the session. It will be my biggest priority and duty to not only take the voice of my people to the center but also ensure that upliftment begins in every possible way to help our farmers, youth and growth of Punjab.

It is disheartening that the government has failed to provide enough opportunities for women to create enough relevant jobs, thereby placing them in a difficult situation. No measures have been taken to improve the overall scenario. I wonder what kind of future such a state has in store for us where the youth of the state are unemployed and there seems to be no future planning on the part of the government. It is therefore essential that immediate remedial measures are taken and that is why I wholeheartedly address all eligible voters,” added Vijay Inder Singla.

Speaking to the media, Vijay Inder Singla said, “We will ensure that all possible steps are taken to bring back the glory of our Punjab. We will strive to provide more opportunities to the youth, establish a more citizen-friendly law and order in the state, and work for the betterment of farmers, women and youth in the state.

Former minister Balbir Singh Sidhu, Mayor SAS Nagar and Amarjit Singh Sidhu (Jiti Sidhu) were present at the election rally to show their unwavering support to Singla.
