Paramedic assaulted in Dollar General break room in Fayette County

State police said a paramedic was assaulted while responding to a man who was reportedly passed out in the break room of a Dollar General store in North Union Township, Fayette County. The incident happened shortly after 12:30 p.m. on May 4. According to a news release, police said Eric Parker, 24, of Uniontown, was allegedly passed out in the break room and physically assaulted a paramedic who arrived on scene to render aid. Parker and the victim were taken to the hospital for treatment. Parker is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on May 15.

The incident happened shortly after 12:30 p.m. on May 4.

According to a news release, police said Eric Parker, 24, of Uniontown, allegedly passed out in the break room and physically assaulted a paramedic who arrived on scene to render aid.
