NORMAL – The Illinois State University Board of Trustees plans to meet later this week to vote on proposed increases in tuition, housing and meal plans.

At a meeting scheduled for Friday at the Alumni Center near the ISU campus, board members plan to vote on a 3.6 percent increase in student tuition.

The cost is $117 per credit hour for undergraduate and graduate students.

Additionally, the board plans to vote on a 3.5 percent increase in room and board in all student housing, including the Cardinals Court Apartments.

During the meeting, board members plan to vote on a 3.5 percent increase in student meal costs.
