HOMER-CENTER CONSIDERS A BUDGET WITHOUT TAX INCREASE

The Homer-Centre school board will meet this evening and the budget for the next school year must be preliminarily approved.

According to the meeting’s draft agenda, the budget will be $20,061,883 with no tax increase for district residents, leaving property taxes at $17.4270 million.

The board will also consider donating $1,000 to the Homer-Center Public Library, this year’s August-December board meeting schedule and student graduation roster.

The meeting will take place this evening at 7:30 p.m. in the district board room.
