Frontier Airlines announces nonstop service from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Travelers looking to get to the other side of the Commonwealth can now do so!

Frontier Airlines announced Thursday that it will offer twice-daily nonstop service between Pittsburgh International Airport and Philadelphia International Airport starting today.

The airline will also offer three times daily nonstop service to Dallas-Fort Worth starting today.

They will also offer nonstop service four times per week to Atlanta and Raleigh Durham starting May 17.

“This is a great day for consumers in the greater Pittsburgh area,” said Josh Flyr, vice president of network design and operations at Frontier Airlines. “Whether you’re looking for a convenient travel option for a quick day trip or planning a longer excursion to some of America’s most iconic destinations, we’re excited to offer these affordable and convenient options to residents of the region.”

In recognition of the new nonstop services, Frontier is offering fares as low as $59.
