The Ministry of Economy changes its policy regarding technology companies

The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine has ended the reservation practice for some technology companies, such as Glovo, Favbet and Visa. This information was announced by the Minister of Economy Yulia Svyridenko in his Facebook post.

She noted that due to public outrage, the reservation order was rescinded. Svyridenko also promised to consider each case individually. This step inspired the acceleration of work to update Resolution No. 76 of the Cabinet of Ministers to take into account the needs of modern businesses.

The minister explained the booking process, specifying that companies wishing to be booked approached the Ministry of Digital Transformation. After that, they were checked on criteria such as the absence of unified social tax debts and the level of salaries.

The candidate lists were then sent to the military headquarters for verification, after which the final processing and decision on employee reservation took place.
