PA Poker Update: Big Events at Rivers Poker Room and Philly Live!

Pennsylvania poker players recently launched a #GrowPAPoker campaign to urge the state to enter into a Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement (MSIGA). And while these players wait for shared liquidity, several major live events are taking place in which they can try their luck.

Philadelphia live! Poker Room is currently organizing the Live! Cup 3, a $600 buy-in event with six starting flights and a $1 million guarantee, while the Philadelphia Poker Championship takes place at Rivers Casino Philadelphia with a $2,200 buy-in Main Event with a guarantee of $200,000.

Two major live events

The Live! Cup 3, taking place May 15-19, is a unique event that features day one flights in Philadelphia as well as live! Maryland hotel and casino.

The survivors of these thefts will then face off on the second day live! Casino Hotel Maryland for a chance at the guaranteed $1 million jackpot.

Players start with 30,000 chips with blinds of 100/100/100, 25 minute levels on day one, increasing to 40 minutes on day 2.

More highlights coming on Philly Live! The Poker Room schedule includes a $250 Road to Riches event with a $150,000 guarantee and a $200 Bounty event with an $8,000 guarantee.

At Rivers Casino Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Poker Championship Main Event will take place from May 24-26 with two starting flights before a Day 2 which will play against a winner.

Day 1 steals will see players start with 40,000 chips and blinds of 100/200/200. Levels will last 40 minutes on day 1 and increase to 60 minutes on day 2.

There are also several $250 buy-in satellites throughout the month, giving players a chance to win a seat to the Main Event at a low price.
