Metro announces temporary closure of one of Omaha’s major stops

Metro announced that one of the city’s major stops would be temporarily closed. Previous coverage in the video above. The main stopover point in downtown Omaha, located at 14th and Farnam streets, will close starting May 20. Those using Routes 4, 15, 18 and 30 can now get between 14th and 15th Streets on Dodge. Those taking Route 106 can get there at the corner of Dodge Street at 14th Street. Metro is also changing frequency schedules for several routes. Route 13 will now run every 30 minutes between north and downtown. and Metro’s South Campus Monday through Friday. Weekends will remain the same. Route 15 will run every 30 minutes between the city center and Aksarben during the day. Weekends will not be affected. Route 16’s road number changes to 106 and will be known as the Eppley Connector. The route and frequency will remain the same. Route 98 will now be Route 120 and will be known as the North Park Connector. The route and frequency will remain the same. The main stopover point in downtown Omaha, located at 14th and Farnam streets, will close its doors beginning May 20.

Those traveling on Routes 4, 15, 18 and 30 can now travel between 14th and 15th Street with Dodge.

Those taking Route 106 can get there at the corner of Dodge Street at 14th Street.

Metro is also changing frequency schedules for several routes.

Route 13 will now run every 30 minutes between North Downtown and Metro’s South Campus, Monday through Friday. Weekends will remain the same.

Route 15 will run every 30 minutes between the city center and Aksarben during the day. Weekends will not be affected.
