No injuries after Boston building evacuated as crews respond to trash fire – Boston 25 News

BOSTON — Crews in Boston responded to a fire in an apartment building’s trash can Saturday morning.

According to Boston Fire, crews responded to a call about a fire at a 300-unit apartment building at 75 St. Alphonsus Street around 7 a.m. Upon arrival, crews ordered the building evacuated.

Around 8 a.m., the fire was detected in the basement trash room and had passed through the trash area and filled the floors with smoke.
