Rohit Chandel reveals why the chain’s decision to abruptly close Pandya Store is unfair

In an interview with Filmibeat, Rohit Chandel said that if the channel had informed the team beforehand, they would not have opted for a skip. Due to this jump, many new actors were introduced and a few old actors were forced to leave the series, leading to huge costs for the production. Rohit mentioned that after the jump, they didn’t have much time to see the impact that the jump can have on TRPs. He mentioned how the actors worked really hard. The cast recently filmed near the coast and many of the actors were sunbathing. Filming in hot weather made them extremely exhausted, and amidst all this, when the crew learned that their show would end this month, it was definitely an unfair decision on the channel’s part.

Rohit further said that he feels bad for the fans. The actor shares that he might come up with a new show in a month or two and might break away from Pandya Store. However, fans really love Pandya Store, and it is really difficult for them to suddenly break away.
