Roma defender Gianluca Mancini received a special message from the Curva Sud following last night’s 1-0 win over Genoa.

The Italian centre-back was among the team members who toured the Olimpico, applauding the home fans for their support in the long campaign, as last night marked the final home game of the season.

La Curva – who considers Mancini a pillar of the team – gave him a card with a special message:

“When the night is dark and the winds blow against you, fear not. Look to your right and smile: we will be there with you.

Mancini’s wife posted a photo of this message on her Instagram stories.
