KTM Adventure Rally ready to hit South Dakota for 2024

The KTM Adventure Rider Rally returns to the United States this October for an adrenaline-pumping weekend in Deadwood, South Dakota. Expect exceptional adventure riding with a series of challenges and the chance to demo some models from KTM’s current street and dual-sport ranges.

Based at the Lodge at Deadwood, the course will largely consist of extensive double track trails, highlighted by dirt and red clay, with a selection of rocky sections to add to the challenge along the way. The area offers riders seemingly endless turns, mountain climbs and valleys, with Mount Rushmore, Devils Tower, Spearfish Canyon and the famous Black Hills being just a few of the landmarks you’ll tackle along the way. of the event.

Routes including designated loops will be suitable for all skill levels, supported by KTM with common lunch/gas locations. The format will once again promote a collective environment for riders to enjoy together, and in the interest of safety and to maximize participants’ enjoyment, adventurers will be placed in groups of 2-4 people each day.

This is open to all street legal motorcycle brands. Seminars on riding technique and technical horsemanship will be available to participating riders and a wide range of adventure vendors will also be on site.

In addition to having the chance to experience with a selection of KTM Adventure ambassadors and athletes, including Marvin Musquin, Ryan Dungey and Taylor Robert, participants will receive an event t-shirt and hat, as well as a pre-event dinner on Thursday, breakfast from Friday to Sunday and awards dinner on Saturday where runners can reminisce about the experience and cap off the camaraderie.

The event kicks off on Thursday, October 10 with a demo day as part of the KTM Street Demo Tour 2024, followed by Ride Days on October 11 and 12. There will be shorter rides and games to round off proceedings on Sunday, October 13.
