Kai Havertz sends message to Arsenal fans after ‘not fair’ Man City comment

Kai Havertz has sent a message to Arsenal fans following the disappointing end to his first season with the club.

On Sunday, the Gunners secured a 2-1 victory over Everton in their final Premier League match of the season. However, the victory was not enough for Arsenal to claim the league title, with Manchester City beating West Ham to claim the title.

Goals from Takehiro Tomiyasu and Havertz won Arsenal’s match against the Toffees. However, there was understandable disappointment from players, staff and supporters at missing out on the title for a second consecutive season and another second place finish.

Havertz joined Arsenal from Chelsea last summer in a £60million deal. The Germany international has become a key figure in Mikel Arteta’s side, making 51 appearances in all competitions with 14 goals and seven assists in his debut season.

After Arsenal’s campaign officially ended with the final whistle against Everton, Havertz posted a message on social media. The 24-year-old expressed his gratitude to the club and fans for their support during his first season at the Emirates Stadium and expressed his optimism for the future.

“Where do I start,” Havertz wrote on Instagram. “My first season helped me grow as a person and as a player in many ways.
