Take a ranger-led hike and meet new people at Powhatan State Park

POWHATAN COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) – Looking to go hiking and meet new people? A a ranger will lead a hike at Powhatan State Park SATURDAY.

The group will meet at the park’s equestrian parking lot at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, and the ride will continue until approximately noon.

Participants will hike Coyote Running Trailwhich is approximately 3.7 miles long and follows a loop.

Guests are recommended to wear closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of water. Children are welcome, but parents and guardians should be aware that hikes may require navigating rugged terrain and in all weather conditions.
