Fans of Ariana Grande’s Boyfriend Ethan Slater Shocked by ‘His Voice’ as He Announces Week-long NYC Residency

ARIANA Grande’s boyfriend Ethan Slater shocked fans with his voice in a new video.

In an Instagram story, the Wicked notable announced his next residency in the Big Apple.

During the brief clip, Ethan, 31, donned a loose gray sweatshirt and showed off his messy red curls.

“Um…” the Broadway star said before abruptly stopping and laughing awkwardly.

“Hey…I’m doing a week of shows at Café Carlyle next week,” he continued.

“And I’d love to see you there. I’m going to play some stuff.”

“New music mostly,” Ethan concludes, tugging nervously at his collar.

The SpongeBob musical star embedded a link to “show tickets” and added a GIF of an animated tuxedo.

Shows start on May 28 and end on June 1.

COMMENTS

In an online thread, critics pointed out the star’s nervousness and shaky voice.

“His quirky act is so weird. Tell me how (Ethan) became a star on Broadway. He better hope Ariana goes to one of his shows,” one critic scoffed.

“Cafe Carlyle is a small, intimate place. This will destroy it,” trolled another reviewer.

“(Ethan) is going to need to prepare a stage track for this. What is he going to talk about between songs?” » mentioned a third reviewer.

Although the couple kept their relationship very private, Ariana, 30, and Ethan looked romantic in the behind-the-scenes photos.

In one of the snaps, the Victorious alum cuddled up to her boyfriend while posing with fellow castmates Cynthia Erivo, 37, Michelle Yeoh, 61, and Jonathan Bailey, 36.

Ariana stood out by making a face and pouting with her bright pink lips on camera.

She looked stunning in a pink floral dress and pulled her long hair back into a ponytail.

Ethan and Ariana dated shortly after she filed for divorce from ex-husband Dalton Gomez, 28, in September 2023.
