Memorial Day Fireworks!

Boston Seaport partners with Fallen Heroes of Massachusetts for Memorial Day Fireworks on Friday, May 24 starting at 9:00 p.m. in honor of all fallen heroes, veteran families and Gold Stars. The best places to watch the fireworks are along the Harborwalk at Fan Pier and Pier 4. Visit Municipality of the seaport, home to the MFH Flag Garden, which is currently on display for Patriot Week in honor of service members who have lost their lives in wars fought. Celebrating AAPI at Macy’s

Macy’s South Bay is hosting a special AAPI Heritage Month celebration this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., highlighting the rich culture and heritage of the AAPI community with fun activities, delicious food and thought-provoking workshops. AAPI vendors will be showcasing their products and there will be free arts and crafts activities for kids as well as a special beauty class on Shishedo cosmetics. The event will also include lion dance and martial arts performances.

Pop-Up Vinyl at DBCo

Music lovers, enthusiasts and vinyl collectors won’t want to miss this special pop-up event. Stop by Dorchester Brewing Company on Saturday from 2-6 p.m. to explore a unique collection of new and used limited edition records on display. The event is hosted by WYTHE, a Boston-based record store focused on curating rare and out-of-print editions for vinyl lovers.

Cedar Grove Cemetery Memorial Day Tour

On Monday, May 27 at 12 p.m., enjoy a 90-minute walking tour to learn the history of Cedar Grove Cemetery and honor the 150-year sacrifice of Dorchester residents in service to our country.

Night of Love and Mindfulness

Nonprofit organization Heavy Hearted Convos Inc. is hosting a special evening dedicated to connection, compassion and celebrating mental health awareness. The event takes place on Saturday evening from 7-9pm at Dareales Clothing on Dot Ave. Guests will enjoy a relaxed and intimate atmosphere of positivity and acceptance. Tickets are $25 and include food, drinks, poetry, music, giveaways and more. The event is aimed at adults aged 21 and over.

DCR Spray Decks are back in action this weekend

Cool off on one of the many spray decks at area DCR playgrounds, including the Neponset Landing II Spray Deck on Hill Top Street. Open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Free outdoor bootcamp

Prepare your beach body with this free 45-minute total body bootcamp designed to improve strength, endurance and agility. Led by coach Trevor Garrick, the free event will take place Sunday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Iacono Playground on Readville Street. Memorial Day Flag Garden

The City of Boston Flag Garden is on display through Monday at the Boston Common. Each of the more than 37,000 American flags planted at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument represents every brave Massachusetts service member who has given their lives to defend our country since the Revolutionary War.
