Blount County Schools Offers Free Food Program

BLOUNT COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — Children and teens will have the chance to eat for free as part of the Blount County Schools Summer Food Service Program in late May and June.

Blount County Schools said on Facebook that the program was sponsored by the Alabama State Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. You can see below where the restoration program will take place and when:


Appalachia

  • June 3-20 Monday to Thursday
  • Breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
  • Lunch 11 a.m.-12 p.m.

Blountsville Elementary School

  • June 3-21 Monday to Friday
  • Breakfast from 7:15 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.
  • Lunch 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Cleveland

  • May 28-June 28 Monday to Friday
  • Breakfast from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
  • Lunch 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Hayden Primary

  • June 3-20 Monday to Thursday
  • Breakfast from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
  • Lunch 11 a.m.-12 p.m.

Locust fork

  • June 3-20 Monday to Thursday
  • Breakfast from 7:15 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
  • Lunch 11 a.m.-12 p.m.

South East

  • May 28-31
  • June 3-7
  • June 10-12
  • Breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Susan Moore Elementary School
