Bill Pickle’s Tap Room under renovation will reopen in June

Bill Pickle’s Tap Room, 106 S. Allen St. in State College, is temporarily closed during under renovation, management confirmed to Onward State. The bar is expected to reopen in June.

“Our goal is to maintain the essence of what makes Pickle’s special while introducing a few improvements that will improve comfort, ambiance and service for our friends and visitors,” manager Brittany Mele told Onward State. “We are refinishing the floors, adding a new coat of paint and, above all, launching our BBQ menu!

“Barbecue is a fan-favorite comfort food with timeless appeal, and our talented culinary team thought it would be the perfect addition to the Pickles experience,” Mele said of the cuisine, which was teased on the bar’s Instagram page. “It’s the kind of food that brings people together and creates a sense of nostalgia and relaxation, especially when enjoyed in the company of friends and family.”

Pickle’s will be open Tuesday through Sunday when business picks up, although exact hours are still to be determined.
