Gunther sends a message before facing Randy Orton in the WWE King Of The Ring finale

GUNTHER has now reacted to Randy Orton’s progression to the final of the King of the Ring tournament, ahead of their match at this weekend’s premium live event.

The final King and Queen of the Ring matches have now been confirmed, following the final semi-final bouts that took place on Friday, May 24, edition of SmackDown.

Randy Orton notably defeated Tama Tonga to earn his place in the final of the tournament which will take place on Saturday. GUNTHER had already punched his ticket to King & Queen of the Ring 2024, beating Jey Uso in Monday’s semi-final.

In an exclusive interview with WWE Digital, GUNTHER noted that he considers Randy Orton one of the greatest legends in WWE.

Wanting to become a legend himself, GUNTHER said:

“What an opportunity this is. What luck. I came here to do this. I came here to be in the ring with the best of the best, and Randy may be one of the greatest legends to ever come out of WWE. But to become a legend myself, I have to beat a legend tomorrow.

“And tomorrow, Der Ring General will officially become the King of the Ring.”

Lyra Valkyria will face Nia Jax in the Queen of the Ring finals, following Jax’s semi-final victory over Bianca Belair.
