The BMW Skytop takes inspiration from the Z8, 503 and 8 Series.

Although the BMW Z8 is more of a post-modern muscle car, the Skytop is more decorative and luxurious.

Of course, the concept car is a convertible with a leather roof that blends seamlessly into the body of the car.

However, you will have to remove the roof and manually place it in the trunk.

Obviously, this is not the only concept car that the German manufacturer has unveiled recently.

Over the years, BMW has presented many different concept cars, some of which have even gone into production.

There have also been cars like the BMW GINA, which were too unique to put into production.

Currently, the German automaker is considering putting the BMW Skytop into production if it generates enough interest.

The car is sure to become a collector’s item, with only 50 models likely to be made.

However, rumors suggest it will cost over half a million dollars.

Compared to other BMW concept cars, the Skytop is much more realistic.

The BMW Skytop is equipped with a 617-horsepower 4.4-liter V8 from the M8 Competition.

It also uses the M8 Competition’s eight-speed automatic transmission and trick all-wheel-drive system.

The entire car is covered head to toe in reddish-brown leather, even the removable roof.

If the BMW Skytop gets enough attention online, we might just see the car go into production.

So watch our YouTube video and comment what you think about this luxury car.
