Hamas terrorists launched a surprise attack on the Israeli military base at Nahal Oz, near the Gaza border, on October 7. During the invasion, at least 66 Israeli soldiers were killed and at least five female soldiers were taken hostage, including a 19-year-old woman. Karina Ariev, IDF soldier.

Before she was brutally kidnapped in Gaza, Ariev managed to speak with her parents twice and eventually sent a farewell message to her family.

Karina’s sister Sasha recalled the last traumatic conversation they had on October 7 before the kidnapping.

“I could see the understanding in her eyes, and a few minutes later she sent me a message saying that if she didn’t leave, if she didn’t make it out alive, she asked me to watch our parents safe and to be strong and not to wallow in sorrow but to continue living”, Sasha said the British newspaper The Mail.

Even though Sasha has watched the music video with her sister Karina several times, she still feels like it looks like a surreal horror film.

“They took her away so brutally in her Snoopy pajamas with Kalashnikovs – like a scene from a movie. But I watch it over and over again and I realize that’s not the case, and you relive that day in new”, Sasha recalled.

Describing her sister’s behavior in the video, Sasha said she saw fear and helplessness in Karina’s eyes.

“I could see his eyes pleading for help,” she added.

“She didn’t tell my parents to worry about me. She told me to take care of our parents. This is who we are. We are strong. This is the bond we have, and we face it together,” she added. .

While brutally murdering most of the non-combatant female soldiers on the base, Hamas terrorists eventually kidnapped Ariev, along with four other female soldiers: Daniella Gilboa, Liri Elbag, Naama Levy, and Agam Berger.

The families of the five kidnapped Israeli soldiers recently authorized the release of a video showing parts of the soldier’s brutal kidnapping to raise awareness and pressure the Israeli government to negotiate a deal and repatriate their relatives.

THE pictures was made public after receiving the green light from the Israeli army.

Much of the Israeli public and leaders were shocked by the harsh clip, which apparently did not show the most explicit parts. The Hamas terrorists in the clip can be heard saying “Sabaya,” which is the Arabic term for “concubines.”

“I am shocked by the video documenting the kidnapping of our dear observers. We will continue to do everything to bring them home,” said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. declared.

War Minister Benny Gantz echoed similar sentiments, but simultaneously emphasized the IDF’s responsibility in repatriating the hostages.

“When I first watched the shocking video of the kidnapping of the Nahal Oz Watchers, my stomach turned, and the thoughts about them did not leave me and will not let me go until their return , and all the girls and boys come back. But the responsibility of leaders is not just to face reality: it is to create a different reality, even when it comes to difficult decisions. And that’s our responsibility,” Gantz wrote on 𝕏.

Hamas terrorists kidnapped more than 250 Israeli and foreign citizens on October 7. Around 130 hostages are still being held captive by terrorists in Gaza.
