Presentation of the Silent Hill transmission scheduled for May 30

Konami has announced ‘Silent Hill Transmission’, a showcase scheduled for May 30 at 4 p.m. PDT (1 a.m. CEST on May 31). The company confirmed that it would share “game updates, a deeper look at the movie, and new products.” Fans immediately took to social media platforms to share their predictions regarding the event, with the most common theme being that we’ll get an in-depth look at the Silent Hill 2 remake.

Reveal the transmission

There are several Silent Hill projects in the works, and we can expect a number of them to be revealed or expanded upon during this showcase. For example, the Silent Hill 2 remake will likely benefit from a) a longer gameplay trailer and b) a release date – or a better window. There’s also Return to Silent Hill, Silent Hill Townfall, and Silent Hill f – any of these titles could be covered during the Silent Hill Transmission showcase.

Some fans are waiting for the reveal of a big collector’s edition of the Silent Hill 2 remake, but there has been no news about it until now. With Konami announcing an update regarding merchandise, it’s certainly possible – but elsewhere, we could probably expect some sort of statue or figurine-based offering. There are more than enough terrifying and iconic characters from the Silent Hill universe to keep fans in suspense until the reveal takes place on May 30.
