Korean man caught selling child pornography via Discord

A Korean man was caught selling child and adolescent pornography via a foreign courier service, Discord.

On May 28, 2024, it was reported that the Busan South District Police Station intercepted the server and discovered that a Korean man was selling various explicit videos of teenagers and children through a server called “Santa Room”. The author was accused of violating the rights that protect children and minors, as well as distributing and possessing explicit material. Additionally, those who made purchases from him were also charged. So far, the police have detected around a hundred consumers.

It was reported that police found a post advertising the sale of the videos while monitoring online activity. They posed as potential consumers in order to investigate the situation.
