Over the years, many have argued that Tatum and Brown should go their separate ways. Although the duo has had a lot of success in the playoffs, some feel like they will never reach their ultimate goal together. Although it hasn’t happened yet, Tatum and Brown are in the NBA Finals again, which is a huge accomplishment in itself.

In a recent post on X (formerly known as Twitter), NBA legend Lou Williams shared a direct message to those who argue that Tatum and Brown should go their separate ways.

If the Celtics finish the job and win it all this season, there really won’t be anything left for the critics to say. Just reaching the NBA Finals is a huge accomplishment, and it’s something Tatum and Brown have now done twice as a duo, and winning it all would certainly silence all the noise regarding their perceived shortcomings.
