“I’m so excited to see our members working in such a beautiful space,” artist Cheryl Holtz said in a statement. “We have professional botanical artists, painters of all types, mixed media and fiber as well. I really think there is something for everyone.”

To celebrate the exhibition, an opening reception will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. June 7 on the third floor of Aurora Public Art, 20 E. Downer Place. Musician Don Nosbaum is scheduled to perform at the event.

Art lovers will have the chance to see “Art Inspired By Earth” until July 13. Gallery hours are noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
