Emmerdale exit ‘sealed’ for Matty as fans spot major mistake after Samson stabbing

Emmerdale viewers are convinced Matty could make his grand exit from the village, as fans also noticed a major mistake after he was stabbed.

During tonight’s episode of the hit ITV soap, things took a shocking turn when Samson was stabbed in a horrific twist. Samson has befriended newcomer Josh, who has already made enemies in the village since his arrival.




While at the hideout, Josh was having a drink with Samson and Sarah. After making Sarah uncomfortable with his remarks, Josh then began making inappropriate comments about Amy Barton.

The teenager openly flirted with her in front of her husband Matty. At first Samson told him to stop, but then he turned on Matty and told his new friend Josh that Matty was transgender.

In a sickening turn of events, Josh began to be openly transphobic. He later tried to rob the place but Matty tried to ignore him.

Things escalated when Matty asked the couple to leave, Josh pushed Samson towards Matty, who was holding a knife. In horrific scenes, Samson was accidentally stabbed. Jay was shocked when he walked in and found Samson bleeding and immediately asked Josh to call an ambulance.

Samson remained silent while he was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, leading to Matty’s arrest. Viewers are convinced this will be Matty’s exit from the soap as they wonder why there was no CCTV at the scene.
