Northeast West Point offering driver education classes in June and July

Driver’s Ed is being offered this summer at West Point through Northeast Community College. Instructor Keith Eriksen introduces the course offered this month.

Eriksen says the 6-hour driving party will take place the following week, and will be organized by instructors, parents and children.

Instructor Mike Waak says Driver’s Ed will be offered in two different sessions.

Waak highlights the importance of the Driver’s Ed course and why students should take it.

Eriksen says there must be at least 8 children enrolled in each class for classes to take place with a maximum of 18.

Eriksen says parents and children can register online through the Northeast website or call 402-844-7000.

Children should bring a laptop with them.
