Aryna Sabalenka has a message for Iga Swiatek, the 2024 Roland-Garros champion responds

Aryna Sabalenka took a moment to send a stylish message to Iga Swiatek, congratulating the Pole on her “impressive stuff” and her fourth French Open title.

On Saturday, Swiatek, 23, demolished Jasmine Paolini 6-2 6-1 to seal her fourth French Open title at her sixth attempt and also complete a hat-trick. Now, Swiatek is already “only” four titles away from beating Chris Evert’s absolute record of eight titles at Roland Garros.

Additionally, Swiatek now has five Grand Slam titles in her collection – which is quite impressive considering she just turned 23 on May 31.

Meanwhile, Swiatek called her fourth French Open victory “surreal”, considering she saved a match point in the second round against Naomi Osaka.

“This tournament was quite surreal at the beginning and in the second round, and then I was able to improve my game in every match,” Swiatek said after sealing her fourth French Open title and fifth Grand Slam title.

“I’m really proud of myself, because the expectations have obviously been pretty high from the outside. The pressure too. I’m glad I gave it a try and was ready to take on all of that. Yeah, and I could win .

“Looking at the whole situation and the fact that during finals sometimes there is a lot of pressure, I think it was a very good match. I was broken at the start, so maybe it was not perfect, but I think the level It wasn’t as easy as the score says I think I played pretty well considering all these facts and the pressure.
