DEPUTIES RESPONDED TO A 911 CALL JUST AFTER 11:00 AM ABOUT A SHOOTING. We’re told a teenager was shot and driven towards 4th Street and Easyley Bridge Road. Deputies say he was taken to the hospital. They say that at last check, his condition was serious. INVESTIGATORS SAY THEY ARE WORKING TO FIND THE EXACT LOCATION OF THE SHOOTING AND A POSSIBLE DESCRIPTION OF A SUSPECT. ANYONE WITH INFORMATION IS URGED TO CALL TWO-THREE-CRIME CRIME STOPPED. WE’RE ALSO FOLLOWING THE LATEST NEWS IN PICKENS COUNTY THIS MORNING. A DRIVER DIED AFTER AN ACCIDENT. Police say it happened last night, around 6:10 a.m. on 6 miles. Two vehicles are said to have been involved. A TRUCK DRIVER WAS HEADED SOUTH ON SC 137 NEAR CEDAR LANE CIRCLE AND ANOTHER DRIVER WAS HEADED NORTH. Police say the two vehicles collided head-on. We’re told the truck driver was taken to a nearby hospital for his injuries. THE DRIVER OF THE OTHER VEHICLE IS DEAD. A PASSENGER WAS BROUGHT TO THE SAME HOSPITAL FOR THEIR INJURIES. THIS IS ALL AN ONGOING INVESTIGATION. MEANWHILE, INVESTIGATION CONTINUES INTO A FATAL SHOOTING IN ANDERSON COUNTY OVER THE WEEKEND. OUR JAMYA JAMYA IS NOW LIVE WITH THE LATEST ON THE INVESTIGATION. JAMIA. AARON, THE ANDERSON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE SAYS THE SHOOTING LEFT ONE PERSON DEAD AND OFFICIALS STILL LOOKING FOR A SUSPECT. THE CORONER HAS RELEASED INFORMATION ABOUT THE VICTIM, WHO WAS SHOT AT AN APARTMENT COMPLEX ALONG PALMETTO LANE SATURDAY AFTERNOON. The coroner says the victim is 26 years old and strong against the ransom. EMERGENCY TEAMS WERE AIR TRANSPORTED TO A HOSPITAL IN GREENVILLE. The coroner says he died there from his injuries after the shooting. Deputies used a K-9 unit and drones to search for a suspect who they believe fled the scene. A woman wanted in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, was arrested after authorities say she taunted them on Facebook. (Video above: WYFF News 4 Morning Headlines) On June 6, the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office issued a failure to appear arrest warrant for driving under suspension for 41-year-old Patrice Smith. On Monday morning, authorities said they received a tip from Crime Stoppers showing a different address for Smith, a description of his car and a social media post Smith made that taunted law enforcement. The social media post read: “I’m on the move!!!! Tell the police looking for me I’m definitely here…” The sheriff’s office said authorities found Smith’s car at the new address. Authorities said Smith refused to come to the door, but after obtaining a search warrant, she was found inside and taken into custody.
