Pepsi launches the first ever COLAogne inspired by aromas around the grill

From the first whiff, the tempting aroma of the grill can make people salivate. Pepsi captured that deliciousness in this first-ever COLAogne, and it’s Bobby Flay approved for Grills Night Out.

Over the years, Pepsi has celebrated its connection to pop culture. Although this classic cola drink goes well with any food, it’s more than just a refreshing sip. It has been associated with music, sporting events and much more.

This summer, Pepsi is the official drink of “Grills Night Out.” While many people can plan the perfect outfit for that meeting or curate an impeccable menu, one aspect that shouldn’t be overlooked is scent.

Although some people avoid scented candles on the table, the reality is that a signature perfume, or cologne, is important to many people’s sense of style. It’s like another accessory.

For summer, COLAogne, “Smoke”, is more than just another fragrant spritz. It embodies the satisfying combination of grilled food and Pepsi.

As Pepsi Senior Brand Director Jenny Danzi said: “All summer long, Pepsi is celebrating that grilling is #BetterWithPepsi and that every night can – and should – be grill night. Today we invented “SMOKED: A Grilling-Inspired COLAogne” with Chef Bobby Flay. The world’s first COLAogne is designed to reinforce how great grilling and Pepsi go together. You don’t even have to turn on the grill to experience the joy of Pepsi and grilling: you can soak up its deliciously delicious scent wherever you go.

Pepsi and Bobby Flay cologne

While Pepsi hasn’t necessarily disclosed the different flavor notes of this unique cologne, it will showcase what makes the drink and grill combination unique. Between the sweetness of the caramel, the brightness of a hint of citrus and the woodiness of the grill, it will appeal to all grill masters, even those who might have a smoke flare-up.

While this deal could be the ultimate Father’s Day gift, it’s not available for purchase in-store. But some lucky winners can get their own Better With Pepsi Grill Dad Giveaway bottle. More information about the social media competition can be found online.

Additionally, select Walmart stores will sample COLAogne. On Saturday, June 15, the following garden centers will allow fans to smell the fragrance.

Although the Smoked is not available in stores, another version may be part of the summer grilling season. Grab a Pepsi, enjoy Grills Night Out, and let that grilling aroma infuse the air. It may not be bottled, but it’s delicious in the moment.
