Free Spay/Neuter Vouchers Offered to Rusk County Residents

RUSK COUNTY, Texas (KETK) — The Rusk County Sheriff’s Office announced Tuesday that with the help of the Commissioner’s Court, county residents can now apply for a sterilization voucher.

People can pick up an application at the sheriff’s office and are asked to bring proof of residency with a driver’s license, electric or water bill. Once the request is accepted, residents will be invited to collect their voucher.

The sheriff’s office said from the date of the voucher, people have 45 days to take their pets to have the procedure.

“Our thanks to the court and mobile veterinary clinics that support our community,” the sheriff’s office said.
