In support of the Australian Olympic and Paralympic teams, Qantas has unveiled one of its Boeing 787 Dreamliners emblazoned with a special message.

Australia’s national carrier shared images of the B787 plane with the message “Go Australia!” » emblazoned on each side of its fuselage.

According to Qantas, the specially created graphic showcases Australian pride on the international stage and captures the essence of the iconic green and gold Australian spirit.

This cements Flying Kangaroo’s proud position as the official carrier of Australia’s 2024 Olympic and Paralympic teams, the carrier said.

“Qantas has a long and proud history of supporting Australia’s Olympic and Paralympic teams, from the first flying Olympic athletes at the London Games in 1948 to our engineers designing custom cushions and support devices for our Australian Paralympians to travel comfortably in the long-haul sectors,” Qantas Group CEO Vanessa Hudson said in a press release.

“We are very proud to help our Australian athletes and fans compete at the Games again and hope our special 787 team will help inspire our teams and fans to put on a great show in Paris,” Hudson added.

Australian Paralympic Team chef de mission Kate McLoughlin said their relationship with Qantas was of great importance to the team.

“Qantas provides flexibility around the travel needs of people with disabilities and the equipment they carry, and it’s great how Paralympics Australia and Qantas are working together to understand the needs of our team,” McLoughlin said.

“The flight home after the Games is always special. Qantas flew our Paralympians on charter flights from London 2012, Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020, and we are delighted that our team will once again be flown back to Australia by Qantas following the Paris Paralympics,” added McLoughlin.
