A Lyonnais arrested for DWI after a road check Friday evening

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Lyon man following a traffic stop Friday evening. Deputies arrested Terrell L. Martinez, 25, for driving with an improper headlamp around 11:06 p.m.

After further investigation, officers determined that Martinez was driving while intoxicated, with a blood alcohol level of 0.08 percent or greater. Martinez was charged with DWI and operating a vehicle with defective equipment.

Martinez was released with citations and is scheduled to appear in Lyon City Court at a later date.
