The Morgan County Sheriff’s Department reports that the crime committed on Trumbull Company property took place this past weekend.

Several pieces of heavy construction equipment were vandalized, and two-way radios and headsets were stolen in Trumbull, resulting in losses of several thousand dollars, according to Morgan County Sheriff KC Bohrer.

“A witness saw two people on four-wheelers near the scene of the crimes around 3 a.m. on the 10th (Sunday evening to Monday morning),” reports Bohrer. “These symbols have appeared on many vehicles, accompanied by slang and derogatory terms.”

Those with information are asked to contact Deputy Chris Roper at 304-258-1067.

Anyone providing information leading to an arrest could receive a reward of up to $2,000 from Trumbull and up to $1,000 from the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department.
