St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office announces $5,000 reward for information on homicides

AND NOW IT’S TIME TO MAKE ANOTHER CHECK OF OUR FIRST WARNING WEATHER. BECAUSE WE DESIGNATE IT A WEATHER IMPACT DAY DUE TO THE HIGH TEMPERATURES. DO YOU KNOW WHAT I DID? WHAT I MENTION IS THE FACT THAT MATTIA, OUR WEEKEND WEB MANAGER, POSTED ABOUT TWO THREE WEEKS AGO, YOU KNOW WHERE TO GET THE BEST SNOWBALLS IN ALL OF NEW ORLEANS, THE GREATER NEW ORLEANS AREA ORLEANS. I posted it on my FACEBOOK page. OH, AWESOME. YOU CAN THEN GO TO JIM’S FACEBOOK PAGE TO FIND OUT WHERE TO GET THE BEST SNOWBALL IN THE AREA. OH, AND SHE DID A GREAT JOB. There’s a bunch of places, a bunch of places I’ve never heard of. IT’S GOING TO BE HOT TODAY. LET’S LOOK AT THE TEMPERATURES NOW. THERE ARE ALREADY 89 AT KENNER AIRPORT AND 88 AT THE LAKEFRONT, 86 IN BATON ROUGE. I really don’t want to show you the next graph, but I have to. I think it’s responsible to do so. SO ALREADY NOT EVEN 10:00 AND THE HEAT INDEX. IT’S LIKE READING ALMOST 100 IN SOME PLACES. If you’re doing anything outside this afternoon, mowing the lawn or playing horseshoes with Uncle Bobby and Uncle Al, make sure you take frequent breaks. Go inside, turn on the air conditioning. LOTS OF NON-ALCOHOLIC FLUIDS. ALTHOUGH UNCLE AL AND UNCLE BOBBY AT LEAST MINE, THEY DID NOT DRINK A LOT AND NO ALCOHOLIC LIQUIDS, BUT 74 DEGREES. OUR CURRENT TEMPERATURE REGARDING DEW POINT, LOTS OF HUMIDITY IN THE ATMOSPHERE, ALTHOUGH THE NORTH SHORE IS A LITTLE DRYER, BUT AT ELEVATION THERE IS VERY DRY AIR IN PLACE RIGHT NOW . THIS WILL CHANGE OVER THE NEXT 4 TO 8 HOURS. WE’RE GOING TO MONITOR THE GULF OF MEXICO, THE SOUTH OF THE GULF, THE EAST OF THE GULF. WE’RE GOING TO HAVE INCREASING HUMIDITY, AND THIS WILL INCREASE OUR CHANCES OF HAVING RAIN STARTING TOMORROW. THEN, AS WE GET TO THE BEGINNING OF NEXT WEEK, THE NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER IS GOING TO MONITOR THIS AREA OF THE GULF OF MEXICO. There is said to be a 50% chance of a change by the start of next week. IF THIS BECOMES A TROPICAL DEPRESSION, I DON’T THINK IT’S GOING TO CHANGE JUST OUR WEATHER. We know it’s getting wetter and wetter. THE MAJORITY OF THE REAL HEAVY RAIN LOOKS LIKE IT IS FEELING IN MEXICO AND TEXAS. THIS IS YOUR DAY. CHECK UPDATED COMPUTER MODELS 99 IS WHAT THEIR FORECAST AT THE AIRPORT AND YOU CAN’T ARGUE WITH THAT. WE ARE ALREADY 89 YEARS OLD NOW. It’s not even 10 p.m. IF WE GET TO 97, WE WILL SET THE RECORD HIGH FOR THAT DATE. NOW WATCH WHAT HAPPENS TOMORROW MORNING. HUMIDITY IS INCREASING FROM THE MORNING. 1 OR 2 SHOWERS APPEAR LATE IN THE MORNING, SHOWERS BECOMING MORE NUMEROUS. WE WILL HAVE SHOWERS ALSO IN THE AFTERNOON. SHOULD BE FINISHED BY APPROXIMATELY 7:738 AM. BUT THEN OVERNIGHT FROM SUNDAY TO MONDAY, STILL A POSSIBILITY OF SHOWERS AS THEY BECOME MORE NUMEROUS LATE IN THE MORNING. HERE IS YOUR AFTERNOON. YES. A FEW POCKETS OF HEAVY RAIN, AND POSSIBLY AN ISOLATED THUNDERSTORM. TUESDAY. HERE IT IS FOR YOU. ALSO WET AIR. MONDAY AND TUESDAY. CHANCE OF RAIN OFFICIALLY AT. 90% DROP TO AROUND 60% CHANCE OF SHOWERS WEDNESDAY. HERE IS YOUR THURSDAY WITH 40% CHANCE OF RAIN. AND IT LOOKS LIKE WE’RE GOING FROM FRIDAY TO SATURDAY, WE COULD BE WETTER FOR THE WEEKEND AND AFTER THIS ONE TOO. So prepare for rainy weather starting tomorrow. PARTLY CLOUDY, WARM AND DRY TODAY. HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 90S IN MANY LOCATIONS. Mostly clear, warm and muggy tonight, then tomorrow our chance of rain is officially 60%, with showers and thunderstorms developing late morning, 90% chance of rain Monday and Tuesday. WE COULD GET MORE THAN FIVE INCHES OF RAIN WHEN WE PUT IT ALL IN BY LATE TUESDAY. CHANCE OF RAIN DIMINISHING TO 60% WEDNESDAY AND 40% THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. WE WILL FOLLOW THIS LOW PRESSURE AREA THROUGHOUT THE WEEKEND FOR YOU AND ON THE
