On June 2, Aariah Henry was killed in a shooting around 2:30 a.m. near Airline Highway near Central Avenue on the reservation. Tyreil Jackson was also killed in a shooting a few days later, on Wednesday June 5, around 12:45 p.m., in a residence on Belle Pointe Boulevard in Laplace. Anyone with information about either of these homicides is encouraged to call the Criminal Investigation Division (Lt. The St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office is seeking information in two separate homicides and has announced a $5,000 reward for each.
